NSS Governor and pioneer physicist Arthur Kantrowitz has passed away

NSS is saddened to report that NSS Governor Arthur Kantrowitz succumbed to heart failure at age 95 on November 29. He suffered a heart attack while traveling and visiting family members. His heart was sustained for a few hours of farewells by an intra-aortic assist pump of his own invention.  Arthur was a pioneer in space technology and advocacy. We deeply regret his loss.
